larry
i am requesting your help for possibe referrals or contacts for lady veterans of vietnam-esp. vietnam nurses and female medical problems-breast cancer, infertility, skin conditions, bipolar children and diabetes in their children.agent orange is a strong candidate for these causes, yet prostate cancer is recognized for men but nothing for the female reproductive system
larry there is not egual care for the men and women in the clinics and hospitals across this land. many times we seem to be an after thought. one was told the va was for men, another by a research person that we were a minority gp and nothing woulld be done about our problems. that is not only insulting, but totally unacceptable.
we women who went to war felt the same duty, honor and pride of country, plus the nurse was there when needed the most. medics and corpman included. however their prostates are recognized with agent orange.
larry the women who were married to vietnam veterans and delivered the problem babies were recognized.
we as nurses were there in country and residual agent orange needs to be ruled out or added to list and follow up needs to be addressed.
in reading reports it is the preganies that are addressed ,not the reproductive problems of those lady veterans in country.
i am requesting a medical followup of females who served in vietnam.
thank you.
