Welcome to Share's first contest: our "Share Your Life" holiday contest. It's our way of saying thanks for helping propel Share's rapid growth during our initial six months of service. That's because every time you share your photo and videos you introduce your friends and family to our service.
So here's how the contest works...
- Share media with friends and family using the "share" action (which many of you typically do already) and earn 1 point for each unique, valid email address you share to between now and midnight Pacific Time on January 15, 2007. Remember that you can share your own media - public or private - and you can also share another member's media as long as it's in a public channel.
- If a recipient of your "share mail" signs up as a Share member prior to midnight Pacific Time on January 15, 2007, you get 10 additional points.
- For each point, you get a spot in a random drawing that will take place on or about January 22, 2007. So more points means more entries for these great prizes:
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 6.0 megapixel camera that takes great quality video, first prize.
- 2GB iPod Nano, second prize.
- Logitech 1.3 megapixel USB 2.0 webcam, third prize.
- Share 512MB USB memory stick, 4th prize awarded to six names selected in the drawing.
